Awareness and Socialization Program on Violence Prevention and Response on Campus
Creating a safe, inclusive, and violence-free campus environment is a shared commitment of the entire academic community. As part of this commitment, a Socialization Program on Violence Prevention and Handling was conducted for Student Organization Leaders and the Welcome Grateful Generation (WGG) Committee of Petra Christian University. The program aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of various forms of violence that may occur within the campus environment, including sexual violence, bullying, discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and other forms of misconduct. In addition to discussing preventive measures, the session provided guidance on reporting mechanisms and case-handling procedures in accordance with the university’s policies. Through this program, student organization leaders and WGG committee members are expected to become active agents of change in fostering organizational and campus environments that are safe, respectful, and uphold integrity.
